Righteous Boys

I want to take a moment and thank G0d for placing me here. I feel you only see the complaining or teaching side of my writing, but you need to see the other sides. I’m thinking next post will be more funny stories over here. I’m actually grateful for where I am at in the scheme of things. He has place me in a community that pushes and values complete oneness with our Heavenly Father. I still haven’t figured out, if this is my home for the next four years. As of now hell to the nahhh, but these people are the same as you and me. His call to His sheep has no nationality or country border lines. Seeing the believers and Chinese believers wrship and talk about Jeesus, shows me there is no difference between y’all in America and us here – well other then the obvious location difference.

DISCLAIMER NOW: I wasn’t gender neutral, but women you should like it. ha!

“Men are not hewn out of the mediocre mass wholesale, but one by one.” — Samuel Shoemaker

Shoemaker has brought my attention to a nagging thought my hombres: Too many men out in this world are hurting boys underneath and putting on a facade instead of exposing or facing their hurts. Unfortunately, I was one at a time. Maybe underneath there is an adolescent now, but hey I’ve grown a bit. Not perfect. Anywho, you want a great read on what makes a great man click on the link: http://www.relevantbibleteaching.com/site/cpage.asp?cpage_id=140011264&sec_id=140001239

It’s safe to say you may have not read it in it’s entirely or maybe you’re saving it for later. There are so many great points in the article, but cliff note version:

“Real men are men of integrity, internal strength in Christ, and courage, willing to do what is right and to stand for truth at all times and in all circumstances.”

I think we need a constant reminder of this definition!! I, And I can betcha that there are a few out there like me, try to live life through their own strength. Maybe tiring? Feel like you take a step forward to only get knock back four and then give that oh so quotable expression, “Why me G0d?”  How I used to quote this. Take ownership my hombres. You chose the path. You keep fighting it. Admit you are weak and need help from above. So many people hate to admit they need G0d, or the fact He even exist. I believe one reason could be that ego/prideful nature. Truth: There is someone bigger and greater than muwah! How I’m force to learn that lesson right now, but what a great lesson to learn! You honestly believe you doing such a great job running your own life….I’ll pr@y for your eyes to be open and heart to see the truth. We were never meant to walk this earth alone on our own strength. Even a wife can’t take the place of our deep yearning inside us. You know what I’m talking about, that underlying desire that drives all humans: a need to worship something

“No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier.”— 2 Timothy 2:4

So let’s change the topic to a lifting matter ha! We are soldiers!! I don’t know about you, but if I’m going to be a soldier I want to be an officer of some sort: a major or a colonel. Once you become a believer, yes that means you too, you become drafted into a war. No sitting on the sidelines anymore. Good ole Paul again instructing his d1sciple Timothy to beware that the affairs of everyday life are not for us. Now you may ask what are these affairs of everyday life? Oh you know those things boys like to talk about: “Son, look at that piece of…..” “Dude it’s normal! I mean it says on this article I found on FB girls do it and look at it more then us.” “So, getting drunk tonight?”…My favorite excuse: “Who are we kidding it’s not like you were really going to study.” haha!

Please don’t think I’m judging you. That isn’t my intention. I’m learning that our lives have the potential to be great. You can live a life where everyday you wake you up expecting the impossible, be a blessing to others, and simply enjoy the journey. If you get entangle in the affairs the world says are more important: money, power, success, lust, porn, drinking, smoking, judging others, etc… It ruins your life. If you believe what Chr1st did at the cross then you know that your old life is gone. You are no longer a slave to those affairs. You have the freedom to soar. It’s on you bro. Looking into the past, I see Abraham, Lot, Job…men who lived lives that where great! I mean their lives were blessed, not because they were perfect, but by having f@ith and fearing the L0rd. They were considered righteous. Want to know another truth? We are seen as righteous too! Sayyy what?!:

“For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jeesus Chr1st, in accordance with His pleasure and will.” — Ephesians 1:4-5

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Chr1st, G0d making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Chr1st, be reconciled to G0d. For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of G0d.” — 2 Corinithians 5:20-21

Hombres, I beseech you, stand toe for toe with me in being a G0dly man we are called to become. One this world and women desperately need.

So…get on your way!” — Dr. Suess
